Get in Touch with the new smartZAC from RED ZAC

As part of this year's Electronics Retail Days - the industry meeting point on September 27 and 28 in Linz - RED ZAC, Austria's top-selling electronics cooperation, presented the smartZAC baptized virtual shelf. 

 


The more than 2,000 visitors were able to see the performance of the innovative in-store consulting concept live: smartZAC devices form the last digital touchpoint in physical retail stores before a purchase is made. Operation by means of touch gestures is child's play due to the viewing habits established by smartphones - also thanks to the oversized devices. And in razor-sharp 4k resolution.

 


RED ZAC is thus consistently expanding its cross- and omni-channel sales, which dovetails physical and digital channels: Retailers on site experience support through a variety of digital services, which are orchestrated by the central RED ZAC e-commerce platform and made available via desktops, tablets and smartphones. This is now joined by the smartZAC devices, which will be delivered to RED ZAC dealers from November.

 


All digital channels are seamlessly integrated within the RED ZAC e-commerce platform: This runs on the basis of the E-Business Suite from ICONPARC, a software manufacturer and solution integrator from Munich.
