As part of an expansion phase, ICONPARC has added several modules to Schweitzer Fachinformationen's established e-procurement platform. An extremely flexible catalog management and editorial system ensures optimum handling of the more than 23 million titles on offer. Their metadata, which originates from a variety of sources, can now be revised and refined by the editorial team according to all relevant aspects - for sales-promoting presentation in the front ends of the Schweitzer e-business solution. Highlights include
Extremely simple metadata editing, even for nested structures
Versioning, and thus the possibility of returning to previous data versions
broad support for the ONIX standard as well as numerous other source data formats back-end user interface designed for maximum editor productivity parallel editing of selected titles - including fast transfer of title attributes The revised and expanded Schweitzer procurement solution also features a flexibly configurable Approval Plan module. On request, customers can receive automatically generated lists of suggestions for new or updated titles that are specifically tailored to their individual needs.
